SECONDING SCRIBBLENAUTS, it's so great. and Phoenix Wright. and Elite Beat Agents. also Ragnarok DS just came out, which. is a pretty good RPG for what it is, but gets 3049830984309 times awesomer on the off chance that you played Ragnarok Online as an MMORPG back in the day. the nostalgia factor is pretty amazing. BUT even if you didn't play RO, RDS is still great.

Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story is actually really great and not a typical (boring to some) side-scrolling Mario game with coin collecting and whatnot. it's like a legit RPG.
