buildings aren't super dense here, because it's not exactly a big town. on the other side of the highway a few blocks from where i live is a good bit of actual one-story housing. going a few subway stops toward nagoya makes a huge difference in terms of housing density. this is definitely the suburbs, and has a weird mix of architecture, as you can see from the view off my balcony.
